 Catonsville Cougar.

Located on the site of the original Westchester Elementary School and nestled in a park-like setting, Catonsville Middle School is a true community school that is steeped in tradition and history. The school has been highly acclaimed for its academic achievements and received the state's Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award in 2001. Catonsville Middle School continues to promote and celebrate rigorous instruction and student achievement today.

One of the hallmarks of the school is the richness of its diversity. Catonsville Middle School students work diligently to develop the academic, social, and emotional attributes that will enable them to be successful in college and/or the workplace. Through the school’s rigorous and relevant instructional program, students will become life-long learners who will reach their potential as productive citizens in a global economy and multi-cultural society.
